Virtual “Come Back to School Night” April 28

Jefferson College is inviting adults who are thinking about finishing a degree, starting a new path or just exploring their options to attend a Virtual Come Back to School Night on Monday, April 28, from 6-7:30 p.m.

The free event will be held online and features several short “Focus Hub” sessions via Google Meet. Participants can choose from a variety of topics that highlight Jefferson College’s Schools of Learning, Adult Education & Literacy and Workforce Development & Employment Services.

“We know it’s not always easy to figure out how to get back into school, especially if it’s been a few years,” said Jefferson College Admissions Representative Keri Hayes. “This night is all about meeting people where they are and helping them take that first step.”

Attendees will also learn about available student support services like the Library, Academic Success Center and Financial Aid. Those who RSVP and attend three different sessions will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card.

“We hear it all the time; people say they wish they’d gone back to school sooner,” Hayes said. “We want them to know: it’s not too late, and they don’t have to figure it out alone. We’re here to help.”

Jefferson College offers flexible learning options, including online and in-person classes, along with a variety of financial aid programs to help make college affordable.
