Multicultural Club

Mission Statement: The Multicultural Club (MCC) at Jefferson College explores the variety of distinctive cultures around the world and in our community. The MCC’s goal is to encourage students to learn about other cultures and how to respect them. The MCC will accomplish this through various activities, celebrations, and sharing of traditions.

Meetings: Each MCC meeting features activities and food from a specified area, country, or culture. At every meeting, we explore traditional foods from the chosen culture as well as traditional crafts and music. If the culture we are learning about has a holiday coming up, we will put on a small event for the whole campus to participate in! We would like everyone to feel welcome and have a sense of belonging at Jefferson College.
