ATS Student Organizations

Students at the Area Technical School have the opportunity to join national organizations that enhance their career readiness through leadership, service, and skill development:

HOSA (Future Health Professionals)

HOSA – Future Health Professionals is a student-led organization for high school students in Health Science, EMT, or PLTW Biomedical programs who are interested in healthcare careers. HOSA develops leadership and technical skills through hands-on activities, competitions, and community service. Members participate in events like the State and National Leadership Conferences and the Washington Leadership Academy.

Students grow through goal setting, project planning, and collaboration with peers and community leaders. Joining HOSA is a valuable, rewarding experience.

National Technical Honor Society

The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is the honor society for Career & Technical Education, serving over 100,000 members nationwide each year.

Benefits of Membership Include:

Skills USA

SkillsUSA is a national student organization for those enrolled in Career & Technical Education programs. As a student at the Area Technical School, you're eligible to join and participate in leadership activities, community service, fundraising, and competitions at the district, state, and national levels. (A minimum "C" average in ATS classes is required for state-level competition.)

Why Join SkillsUSA?
SkillsUSA helps students develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and employability skills valued by employers. Members gain hands-on experience through applied learning, service projects, and competitions in a variety of skilled trades and technical fields.
