Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center (ASC) supports the educational development of students and reinforces classroom learning. Our desire is to empower students to achieve their academic goals by providing opportunities to enhance student learning, course success, and personal growth. We partner with the College community to help meet the College’s goals in academic success, retention, persistence, and graduation.
The ASC provides a variety of free resources to students at Hillsboro, Arnold and online, including:

- Peer Tutoring
- Computer Lab
- Math Lab
- Science Lab
- Writing Lab
- Foundations Lab
ASC Hillsboro
Location: Technology Center (TC) First Floor
Hours: Provides services Monday-Friday during the fall and spring semesters.
ASC Arnold
Location: First floor - Room 112
Hours: Provides services Monday-Friday during the fall and spring semesters.
Foundations Lab
Services include support for Math and Reading placement tests, ATI TEAS prep, and ongoing academic help in Reading, Writing, and Math, with added support for students with accommodations.

Peer Tutoring
The program offers one free hour of weekly, one-on-one help from students who’ve excelled in the course, supporting academic success and study skills.
