Program Overview

Television Production courses provide an overview of the basic skills of TV production, including videography, audio, lighting, editing, writing, interviewing, studio directing, and on-camera performance. This comprehensive curriculum aims to prepare students for a career in the television industry by exploring multiple facets of production.

Students work in teams to produce both studio and field content. Collaborative projects not only teach technical skills but also foster important teamwork and communication abilities, essential for successful production environments.

In addition to standard coursework, students have the opportunity to cover college athletic and fine arts events for the Jefferson College YouTube channel. This practical experience allows students to apply their learning in real-world scenarios, enhancing their understanding of live production dynamics.
