Construction & Mechanical Occupations (CAMO)
What is CAMO?
The Construction and Mechanical Occupations (CAMO) Training Academy Program is designed to provide participants with a quality pre-apprenticeship and occupational exploration experience leading to acceptance into a skilled apprenticeship program, enrollment in a career technical training program, and/ or related employment. The program will include career assessment, work readiness assessment/ instruction, OSHA safety training, job search skill training, career technical training, and work experience training.
What will I learn in this training?
Participants will experience a guided career exploration program that includes hands-on projects and discussions with area employers. Discussions on goal setting and decision-making will help participants reflect on their experience and decide if they would like to pursue an apprenticeship, education, or employment.

- Carpentry
- Building Repair
- Automotive Technology
- Manufacturing
- Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM)
- HVAC/ Electrical
- Welding
- Metal Fabrication
Program highlights include OSHA 10 certification, Workkeys testing/ certification, and completing a resume.
